Initially, Mike wrote this book to pass wisdom on to his Son without sounding like a preachy parent; mission accomplished!  The book is full of sayings that will educate, motivate and inspire!  Many of these sayings exemplify plain old common sense, which sadly, is not so common anymore!

Following is a small sampling of some of the sayings in the book; "remember the 5 p's; prior planning prevents poor performance", "never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat", "you don't choose your passions, they choose you", "it's never too late to be what you might have been",  "we travel the world over in search of what we need, and return home to find it".
